Our rating:            Excellent for animation students and those with any artistic bent.

It's worth noting that the Paris Animation Unit, previously housed here, in fact, did a large part of the work on The Emperor’s New Groove. However, the current attraction is somewhat disappointing. The pre-show area houses a superb genuine multi-plane camera and other interesting items from the American Studios and presents a short, standing only introduction to the main presentation. From this room guests are guided into a cinema where a selection of scenes from the Disney animation stable is shown. Finally, guests enter yet another theatre, this time with a presenter, a stage and several large screens. It's here where the presentation begins to falter, using French as the main language for the presentation and with headphones for the other European languages. Although an excellent idea in theory, in practice the loud French dialogue almost drowns the headphone feed, making it difficult to hear the often-amusing exchanges between the live on-stage presenter and Mushu, the dragon from Mulan. It's intended that some presentations will be in English and it seems essential for non-French speakers to ask when they will be and avoid the others.
