One of the more endearing and well thought out attractions, the maze is delightfully complicated and at its best after dark, although Disneyland have closed the Maze at that time for 'security reasons'. A great deal of damage was done to it in its first few months of operations, with the carefully cultivated shrubs trampled underfoot. However, it appeals to the younger children, who love seeing their parents getting soaked by the fountains and unable to walk through tiny doors. Their delight at finally discovering the Queen of Hearts' Castle is matched only by the fun had trying to find it.
